The movie will also introduce a bunch of new characters like Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong'o). The seventh movie, it launches a new trilogy that some are touting as a "sequel trilogy." It follows the events of the epic space opera some 30 years after "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi." It brings back classic characters such as Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Leia (who is dropping the "Princess" title, said actress Carrie Fisher). "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is the latest installment in the Star Wars film franchise. But still, as Entertainment Weekly pointed out, the recreations are still as adorable, making it a must-watch clip for both LEGO enthusiasts and Star Wars fanatics. Of course, the only downside to this LEGO version trailer is that, as action-packed as the scenes and the music are, LEGO Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) can only simulate one expression, probably diminishing the intensity of some scenes a bit. It's almost as if it's a trailer for an actual Star Wars Lego film. It's actually pretty amazing, especially as the original voice and sound effects are also in place. It echoes almost frame-by-frame one of the official trailers that came out for the said film, just that instead of the actual actors, viewers get to see animated Lego characters moving in place of them. Workshop LEGO Animations posted on YouTube their own version of a "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer. And the two huge franchise continue the partnership with the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," with the latter coming up with a full-scale trailer in Lego form.
